Girls 3 is part of my Fashion and war series of works. I came across a fashion campaign in a magazine of three young female models wearing scarfs. The models had no bodies, only their heads and scarfs were shown. It was as if their heads had been removed from their bodies, and the scarfs were what was important. The scarfs the models were wearing were identical, yet slightly different, and the expression the three models had also seemed identical, yet slightly different. Somehow in each one of these girls, there was an expression, slightly coming through the cracks.
